Los profesores que participaron en este día generaron una energía muy especial al compartir su pasión y amor por el Método. Todo el dinero recaudado se destinará exclusivamente para ayudar a Mari Winsor, profesora de Pilates de reconocimiento mundial. Hace 4 años, Mari fue diagnosticada con ELA (esclerosis lateral amiotrófica) y los gastos médicos que debe sufragar anualmente superan los 250,000$. Se siguen recaudando fondos en:

Hemos tenido el placer de dar la bienvenida a Veronica Muriel, propietaria de Vive Pilates en Guadalajara, y a Maria Earle, profesora destacada en PilatesAnytime con más de 20 años de experiencia. Estos dos aparatos poco comunes en los centros de Pilates son herramientas indispensables para trabajar la sustentación del la columna En esta ocasión, los instructores asistentes han venido de Valencia, Galicia, Portugal y otras localidades mas próximas como Gavà, el Montseny, Reus y Badalona entre otras. Todos estos profesores sabían que esta reunión era una oportunidad única para explorar el Método a través de ejercicios menos conocidos. En PILATISTIC, nuestra prioridad es ofrecer una educación de calidad para que los profesionales de la comunidad de Pilates brinden el mejor servicio a sus clientes.
In the recent Teachers’ Meeting Day organized at PILATISTIC, Marian Tarín and Miguel Jorge have taught a dynamic workshop on the Arm Chair and the Pedi Pole. These two unusual aparatus in Pilates studios are indispensable tools to improve the lift of the spine. In this occasion, the instructors attending this reunion have come from Valencia, Galicia, Portugal and other nearby towns such as Gavà, Montseny, Reus and Badalona among others. All of these teachers knew that this meeting was a unique opportunity to explore the Method through lesser-known exercises. At PILATISTIC, our priority is to offer a quality education so that the professionals of the Pilates community put up the best service to their clients.

Marian ha tenido el placer de presentar su trabajo junto a otros grandes profesionales internacionales incluyendo a Inelia Garcia (BRA), Dana Santi (USA), Karine Cid (ITA), Brett Howrard (USA), Benjamin Degenhardt (USA) y Jean-Claude Nelson (GER). Durante este evento de 3 días de duración, Marian ha compartido con los asistentes sus más de 15 años de conocimiento y experiencia en Pilates, impartiendo diversos talleres basados en los fundamentos y la metodología de PILATISTIC. Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable, donde el profesionalismo y el respeto por el Método ha quedado reflejado tanto en la organización del evento como en la comunidad participante. ¡Ya estamos impacientes por que llegue la edición de Classical Pilates Brasil 2019!

Moses Urbano ha impartido un fascinante fin de semana de talleres en Pilatistic, incluyendo temas como ‘El alumno iniciante’ y ‘Trabajar con desiquilibrios’. Su energía y positivismo a la hora de transmitir sus conocimientos han hecho de este evento una experiencia inolvidable. Los espíritus de Romana Kryzanowska y de Jay Grimes han brillado absolutamente a través de las enseñanzas de Moses.

“Voices of Classical Pilates II: Mens Work” es la última obra de Peter Fiasca, una colección de ensayos escritos por treinta profesores de 2ª generación de Pilates Clásico. Este libro ofrece una perspectiva más varonil sobre el Método con la intención de hacer un llamamiento al colectivo masculino y esclarecer algunos mitos referentes a este sistema de entrenamiento creado por un hombre: Joseph Pilates.
Marian Tarín y Miguel Jorge son los autores del artículo ‘Accomplished Man of Excellence’ incluido en este proyecto. En este ensayo, Marian y Miguel hacen un paralelismo entre el Método Pilates y la Paideia (educación) de la Antigua Grecia, comparando citas de Joe con los pensamientos de relevantes filósofos griegos.

This book offers a more masculine perspective of the Method with the intention of appealing to the male group and clarifying some myths concerning this training system created by a man: Joseph Pilates.
Marian Tarín and Miguel Jorge are the authors of the article ‘Accomplished Man of Excellence’ included in this project. In this essay, Marian and Miguel make a parallelism between the Pilates Method and Paideia (education) of Ancient Greece, comparing quotes from Joe to the thoughts of relevant Greek philosophers.

I.C. Rapoport has visited Pilatistic for an intimate reunion of instructors interested in hearing the story of the day that Chuck met Joe Pilates at the original studio in the 8th Ave, New York. After the thrilling presentation replete with special anecdotes, attendees were able to purchase the famous photographs of Joe signed by Rapoport. Now more of these unique images will hang on the walls of other fortunate studios.

Marian Tarín y Miguel Jorge han demostrado los ejercicios de colchoneta a todos los asistentes en el taller “The Matwork”, impartido por el maestro Jay Grimes. Además, en la exhibición ofrecida por Vintage Pilates y dirigida por Sandy Shimoda, Marian y Miguel también han ejecutado varios movimientos en distintos aparatos, representando los fundamentos de Vintage Pilates.

Para nosotros es de extrema importancia ofrecer un servicio de alta calidad a todos nuestros clientes y por eso nuestras instalaciones cuentan con los mejores aparatos del mercado: GRATZ construye la maquinaria sobre los planos originales diseñados por el propio Joe Pilates. Sin estas herramientas de trabajo, el Método deja de ser completamente efectivo.

We are proud to be one of the Pilates centers in the world fully equipped with classical apparatus imported from the USA. For us it is of utmost importance to offer a high quality service to all our clients and that is why our facilities have the best equipment on the market: GRATZ builds the apparatus on the original plans designed by Joe Pilates himself. Without these working tools, the Method ceases to be completely effective.
